Fine Art Wildlife Prints by Beverly Joubert

The ultimate gift for art and animal lovers alike, Great Plains co-founder Beverly Joubert is proud to present her collection of fine art wildlife photographic prints. Great Plains clientele and wildlife lovers around the world are now able to showcase the spirit of Africa on their walls, with the prints taken on Joubert’s conservation adventures across sub-Saharan Africa, many within Great Plains camps in Botswana, Kenya and Zimbabwe.

Art aficionados can choose from a collection of black and white, sepia, color and landscape prints in a range of sizes. Highlights include the striking ‘Eye Series’, a selection of black-and-white animal shots with glowing amber eyes to symbolize the fire within the soul of every living creature and the social contract between beast and photographer. Meanwhile, a range of landscape shots, including the mythical and ethereal ‘Veils of Mist’ and the uplifting ‘A New Day’ are guaranteed to make a statement on any wall.

Following recent camp openings in Botswana, Kenya and Zimbabwe, Great Plains have introduced fresh art in their prestigious camps and created a catalogue of the fine art collection so guests and followers can see these images and the way they are displayed at the camps.

The internationally acclaimed Beverly Joubert is an award-winning filmmaker, photographer, wildlife conservationist and National Geographic Explorer-at-Large with over 40 films co-produced with her husband Dereck Joubert and 12 published books as co-author with Dereck. She is one of the passionate co-founders of Great Plains, a unique conservation tourism company built around bespoke, caring, meaningful and considerate values.

Entirely self-taught, Beverly Joubert has been recognized with her husband internationally for the raw authenticity of their work with accolades including: The World Ecology Award, a Peabody Award, 22 Emmy nominations and 8 Emmy Awards as well as the Presidential Order of Merit in Botswana. Whilst the Jouberts have won international recognition for their films and conservation work, their greatest rewards have come not in the form of trophies but rather in their conservation successes, saving the wildlife they are so passionate about and the wilderness that has become their home.

The colors are close to nature, with earth tones such as khaki, beige and sky blue. Key pieces such as trousers, shirts, blouses and vests are complemented by accessories such as scarves and belts.

There are dozens of functional clothing options for safari tourists, but this particular collection is for the traveller, the explorer, for someone who wants a hand-made experience, just like the d&b Explorer Collection.
Just as the Great Plains safari camps are run meticulously, the pieces in the collection are also made with the utmost care. All pieces are created and manufactured with environmentally friendly, sustainable, and responsible practices.
