Aruba Kite Surfing Video

There are certain sports perfectly suited for certain destinations. Kite surfing and Aruba are a Caribbean marriage made in heaven.

Kite power dates back all the way to the 1800s.

As recently as 1977, the idea of combining a surf board with a wind catching parachute was patented by one Gijsbertus Adrianus Panhuise of the Netherlands. It’s only fitting that the sport born from Panhuise’s vision is thriving in the Caribbean’s most Dutch drenched landing spot. Aruba is the picture perfect environment for Panhuise’s gravity defying diversion.

If you’ve longed to experience the feeling of going airborne, then kite surfing in Aruba could be just the ticket. Check out this exhilarating video capturing 0ne of Aruba’s favorite past-times.

This video was shot on the shores of Aruba’s famous Palm Beach.
