Perched five stories above Union Market Hotel, Treehouse Rooftop Lounge is an indoor/outdoor Tulum-inspired jungle sanctuary. Historic Roots and an Evolving Neighborhood
The historic Bolgiano Seed Company was established in Baltimore in 1819 and opened their New York Avenue location in 1931 to coincide with the opening of the Union Terminal Market, now Union Market. The family-run company sold seeds that produced beautiful flowers, high-quality produce, and most famously, provided lawn seeds for the White House and National Mall. The Bolgianos made a lasting impact on the agricultural industry as Joseph A. Bolgiano – founder of the seed company – was also a cofounder of the American Seed Trade Association, which is one of the oldest trade organizations in the United States and still exists today.
