This City’s “Tour Tourism” Will Peak this October

Between Taylor Swift’s highly-anticipated three-night run, the city’s second-annual “Music Month” celebration, and a new Saints NFL team-themed package from The Pontchartrain, New Orleans is sure to welcome a record number of fanatics this October.

“Tour Tourism” continues to make headlines with reports from top travel site Expedia sharing staggering numbers like a 1130% increase in searches for destinations where Swift will host upcoming shows while traveling for sports games represents one of the fastest growing sectors of the travel industry with an estimated increase of 17.5% by 2030 as reported by CNBC and the UN World Tourism Organization.

Here are a few timely reasons to visit New Orleans this fall:

  • Score with the Saints at The Pontchartrain: Paying homage to the birthplace of the New Orleans Saints NFL team, which were first signed into existence in The Pontchartrain’s Bayou Bar, the historic hotel is bringing fans the ultimate “Who Dat!” package this fall.
