The Lodge Mallorca is NEW and Now Open

April 2023….The Lodge, is an exclusive new luxury retreat of 24 rooms scheduled to open in May, 2023. The property occupies a 157-hectare private nature reserve, located in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range, a UNESCO-protected area defined by elegance, calm and respect for nature. Surrounded by history and Mediterranean nature, an extensive lavender field – the largest on the island- and a multitude of almond, carob, olive and fruit trees. This opening follows the success of hotel Finca Serena, which opened in the interior of the island, among centuries-old olive trees and native vineyards.

The accommodation in the main building is strategically distributed to blend calm and privacy, along with the integration of common spaces, a restaurant and reception. The rest of the 24 easily accessible suites are strategically distributed throughout the estate. If absolute privacy is desired, the Private Pool Suite is the perfect retreat.

Committed to the environment, we have implemented sustainable practices included in our ‘We Care by Único Hotels’ program. Forty percent of our energy consumption is solar powered and 100% of our resort’s irrigation comes from reclaimed water. We also handcraft our own honey and lavender products, which are available to guests during their stay, and available for them to take home as a pleasant souvenir of their Mediterranean stay.

Location: The Lodge is only 30 minutes by car from Palma airport, and 10 minutes from the best beaches of the island such as Playa de Muro, Colonia de Sant Pere and Son Serra de Marina, several golf courses, unknown cycling routes and picturesque villages such as Pollença, Sa Pobla or Campanet.

Architecture and Design

The design team of Único Hotels, led by the renowned interior designer Pilar García-Nieto, is responsible for making this project a reality. Her work in Mas de Torrent Hotel & Spa and the Finca Serena Mallorca hotel has been internationally applauded for its Mediterranean and minimalist design yet deeply comfortable. The Lodge is a series of spacious, cozy and attractive environments. The design is elegant with a fresh and warm aesthetic, using natural and organic materials, a chromatic range of earth tones and careful lighting to create private terraces, patios and spaces with an atmosphere in keeping with the tranquility of the place, making the views of the Majorcan countryside, the protagonists. The extraordinary natural environment and the relaxed and elegant atmosphere of the interior design project favor above all the comfort and privacy of the clients.

The landscape project includes more than 157 hectares of private nature in the heart of the Sierra de Tramuntana. It is an ideal place to enjoy nature by walking through the 12 hectares of lavender fields, an extensive grove of fruit trees, and several orchards.

The Singular Restaurant: A Home for Authentic Majorcan flavors

The Singular restaurant offers the uniqueness of “La Cocina del Fuego” in the heart of Mallorca. A Mediterranean gastronomic experience with fire as the central element that combines local and seasonal produce, technique and tradition. Meat, fish and vegetables cooked with wood from different trees that provide their own unique flavors. The best grilling techniques. An adventure for the palate with Majorcan signature flavors.

The prestigious chef Ramón Freixa, awarded with two Michelin stars, is leading the gastronomic direction of the restaurant, whose team is formed by the Majorcan chefs Mateo García and Sergi Fernandez.

A cuisine based mainly around the fire where local ingredients will define the character of the menu. Starters will include:seasonal vegetable soups, Majorcan sobrasada buñuelos , grilled sardine pie ( coca in Spanish ). Other dishes : A section of grilled vegetables with seasonal products cooked with care and finished on the fire.
