The Bella: A Collection of 13 Pop-Art, Music-Infused, Short-Term Guest Suites Opens in Biloxi
BILOXI, MISS., [Date] – The Bella, a new, Miami-beach-inspired collection of 13 individually-themed short-term rental suites, recently opened in downtown Biloxi, Mississippi just a block away from beaches and some of Biloxi’s most popular casinos.
Developers Ivan and Kelly Spinner designed the property’s vibe to take the short-term rental experience to a new level, making its suites each a unique destination unto itself. The couple transformed an old bank building into a pop-art, music-infused set of vacation rentals, each with its own unique theme ranging from rock and roll to hip-hop. Room names range from Rocker’s Rhapsody and Heartbreaker Hideaway to Swing & Sway and Purple Prince. The art in common areas and guest suites alike is designed to be thought-provoking and entertaining.
Each suite at The Bella offers a spacious living room, a well-appointed kitchenette, a full bathroom, a flat-screen TV and an Alexa Echo device connected to an in-room sound system.
Suites with one king or two queen beds are available. As guests enter their chosen suite, music matching its theme welcomes them, adding an extra layer of ambiance to their stay. Second-floor rooms feature balconies with sweeping views of downtown, while the first-floor rooms provide accessibility, a private courtyard and other amenities. Those on the east side of the building enjoy a prime viewing location along Biloxi’s Mardi Gras parade route.
Guests can arrive at The Bella and never have to drive, as The Bella’s central downtown location offers guests walking access to the beach, casinos such as Beau Rivage and the Hard Rock, Ground Zero Blues Club, and many other nearby entertainment and dining options. Or, they can book one of the Bella’s stylish “Mokes,” which are street-legal (up to 35 mph roads), open-air electric vehicles known for fun in the sun. For those who do drive their vehicles, the Bella has four EV charging stations.
Adjacent to the hotel is the Nativity Cathedral, a popular wedding venue, with The Bella offering group sales to accommodate entire wedding parties or guests.
“We consider our location the intersection of ‘Main and Main’ in downtown Biloxi,” remarked Ivan Spinner. “With our proximity to the beach, casinos, baseball stadium and other attractions, we believe The Bella will become the new hot spot of the Mississippi Coast.”
The Bella also features a French-inspired café, The Brew Paddle, accessible from the hotel’s lobby, which serves freshly brewed coffee, baked bread, pastries and other offerings. Led by Head Chef Scott Plauche and his wife Rachel, The Brew Paddle café promises a gourmet breakfast and lunch experience centered around quality ingredients and artisanal bread, catering to hotel guests and the public. The space can also accommodate large parties, birthdays, baby showers among other catering events.
“We’ve carefully sourced ingredients to create exceptional breakfast and lunch offerings, including artisanal bread made fresh daily by Scott,” said Rachel Plauche. “Another element our guests will find is that we converted the original bank vault into a semi-private lounge so they can still take in that piece of history while enjoying their coffee or meals.”
The Bella and the Brew Paddle Café expect to serve as picturesque destinations for capturing memories and photos for social media feeds. Guests and patrons walking by can commemorate their visit with pictures of The Bella monument sign or in the lobby in front of a neon sign that reads, “Slept at The Bella.”
