The Alfond Inn at Rollins: A 10-Year Celebration Experience

August 21, 2023. Winter Park, Florida – The Alfond Inn at Rollins, the award-winning boutique hotel in the heart of historic Winter Park, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this month. Upon opening in 2013, the hotel quickly became the focal point of the Winter Park community, the go-to destination for lodging, dining, socializing, meetings, and weddings. Later this year, the hotel will unveil an art-filled new wing and The Spa. Owned by neighboring Rollins College, the private, coeducational liberal arts college in Winter Park, Florida, the hotel is distinguished by its philanthropic mission, directing all net operating income to scholarships, and its affiliation with the Rollins Museum of Art.

The Alfond Inn at Rollins is marking a decade in Winter Park with a 10-Year Celebration Package that includes accommodations for two nights, valet parking, champagne upon arrival, and one three-course dinner for two at Hamilton’s Kitchen.

The hotel’s much-anticipated new wing will officially open later in 2023, beginning an exciting new chapter during the celebratory 10th Anniversary year. With the addition of 71 new guestrooms, the capacity will increase to a total of 183 rooms. The Spa at The Alfond Inn, which will be open for guests and day visitors, offers a relaxing wellness component with signature treatments, steam, a sauna, a new fitness area, the hotel’s second swimming pool, with private cabanas, and an extensive outdoor living room that is available for private events.

The new lobby Café will serve light bites and beverages, while Hamilton’s Kitchen restaurant has a new upgraded private dining room. A new meeting room and boardroom will add 2,400 square feet to the existing 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, and the existing lobby, library, and bar have been renovated. Guestrooms in the original building have also undergone complete upgrades with new interiors, providing a fresh look to the entire Alfond Inn. The expansion also promises increased gallery space for The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art throughout the property.
