Texas-sized fun can be found in Space City this March. Timed to Houston Rodeo and spring break throughout March, Thompson Houston is excited to debut a fashion pop-up, rooftop concert series, new spa treatments, a wellness series, specialty rodeo cocktail and more for guests and Houstonians alike.
Kicking off the first weekend of Houston Rodeo, Thompson Houston is partnering with luxury fashion cowboy boot brand Miron Crosby to host the Cowboy Concierge—an elevated shopping pop-up in the hotel’s lobby. From Thursday, March 6-Saturday, March 8 between 12pm-6pm, guests of the hotel and Houston locals can shop Miron Crosby’s latest styles and bestsellers, with the option to customize boots with personalized ear pulls and message boxes. Shoppers can sip on Ranch Waters & Rosé, bubbly from the hotel’s Veuve Clicquot Champagne cart, and more.
Additionally, the hotel is debuting a rooftop Country Concert Series every Thursday in March from 6:30pm-9:30pm on the rooftop greenspace featuring the best local talent from across the Lone Star State. Guests and locals can relax by the pool or kick back on the lush green space while enjoying live music, signature cocktails, delicious light bites, and unapparelled views of the downtown Houston skyline. Country concert talent includes Allan Henrickson, Elle Townley, Chris Ryan, and Bubba Westly and tickets are $70 each. At rooftop restaurant Sol 7, guests can also enjoy a specialty rodeo cocktail – Wrangler’s Whiskey, featuring rye whiskey, sweet vermouth and maraschino.
Lastly, Thompson Spa is launching a new facial by celeb-facialist Pietro Simone – the Lift Corrective Facial – featuring his exosomes technology and new Regenesis line, to treat aging and damaged skin and offering a non-invasive alternative to traditional methods such as resurfacing lasers and peels. The spa will also debut a spring wellness class series offering weekly group classes including Energy Balancing with Sound Baths on Sundays from 8:30am-9:15am, yoga on Saturday’s at 7:30am and more.
