Swing into Spring: New Tennis & Pickleball Experiences at Bürgenstock Resort

Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne announces a new series of tennis and pickleball experiences to swing into spring.

The resort will launch a pickleball experience, a series of kid’s tennis camps with professional coaches, and a Tennis & Stay package to take your game to new heights in the Swiss Alps.

Additionally, the Bürgenstock Resort will host the next LUX Tennis Star event from August 2-4 with former tennis professional Dominik Hrbatý.

New Pickleball Program & Experiences

Bürgenstock Resort launches a Pickleball Program in Collaboration with LUX Tennis in the architecturally splendid indoor Dimond Dome courts surrounded by a breathtaking Alpine panorama. As one of the first resorts in Switzerland to offer Pickleball, guests of all ages and levels can enjoy personalized experiences including court rental, rackets and balls for up to 4 players, complimentary pickleball discovery sessions every Friday at 4:00pm, and one-on-one pickleball lessons with the on-site LUX tennis coaches.

New LUX Tennis Camps for Kids & Teens  (April 8-12; July 29-August 2; August 5-9)

Bürgenstock Resort welcomes young athletes for a one to five-day tennis camp. The resort’s team of world class coaches take a dynamic and fun approach following the LUX Tennis training methodology, developing top tennis skills while ensuring everyone is part of the game. With two age groups, juniors play with their peers in sessions that cater to all skill levels and abilities. LUX Tennis Star Event with Dominik Hrbaty (August 2-4, 2024)

Bürgenstock Resort announces the next LUX Tennis Star Event as a continuation of the resort’s world-class tennis program with renowned tennis pros to offer guests top-tier activities, customized programs and private training, in partnership with LUX Tennis. From August 2-4, former ATP tennis pro Dominik Hrbatý will offer private 1-1 training sessions, a group clinic and meet & greet. A semifinalist of the 1999 French Open, Hrbatý is one of only three other players to have beaten each of the “Big Three” (Djokovic, Federer and Nadal) the first time he played them.

Tennis & Stay Package – Embark on the ultimate tennis travel experience and take your game to new heights at the luxury mountainside resort in the Swiss Alps. Available for stays between April 2 and October 31, 2024, the Tennis & Stay package includes overnight accommodations at Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa or Waldhotel Health & Wellbeing with breakfast, a 1-hour-session with a LUX Tennis pro for 2 including equipment rental, one Icebein or Icelab session per stay, use of the Diamond Domes tennis courts, access to the Bürgenstock Alpine Spa or Waldhotel Spa, and use of the MS Bürgenstock Catamaran and the Bürgenstock Funicular. LUX Tennis x Bürgenstock Resort Concept: Bürgenstock Resort is a year-round tennis destination with three first-class courts of Davis Cup standard, a club house and sports recovery program available on a complimentary basis for guests. The resort partners with LUX Tennis, whose coaches are former and current ATP or WTA professional players, to offer customized top-tier tennis activities and private performance enhancing training tailored to the guest’s experience level and desired goals. Designed to meet the high demand from tennis enthusiasts, the two unique indoor Diamond Dome Tennis Courts and outdoor court are offered for private sessions, guest matches, and tournaments on a complimentary basis for guests. In addition to more than 20 destinations worldwide, the Bürgenstock Resort became the first destination in Switzerland to offer a partnership with LUX Tennis in 2022.
