Napa, CA – Silverado Resort is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather McKenna to the role of Director of Marketing, effective January 2025. With a proven track record of success and an unwavering commitment to creative storytelling and strategic digital marketing, McKenna will now oversee all marketing and communications efforts at the resort.

In her new role, McKenna will manage branding, strategic planning, sponsorships, public relations, media buys, social media, content creation, and digital platforms, all while focusing on achieving Silverado Resort’s ambitious revenue and business goals. She will also serve as an integral member of the resort’s Executive Committee, collaborating with leadership to shape the future of the iconic property.
McKenna joined Silverado Resort in August 2021 as Digital Marketing Manager, where her expertise and leadership quickly became apparent. Her promotion to Senior E-Commerce Marketing Manager in April 2023 marked a significant milestone in her career, as she led the successful launch of the resort’s new website in July 2023 and enhanced the resort’s digital presence. In recognition of her outstanding achievements, McKenna was named Silverado Resort’s 2022 Leader of the 2nd Quarter and was awarded the prestigious Leader of the Year distinction.
In November 2024, McKenna was selected to represent Silverado Resort in Peregrine Hospitality Group’s esteemed High Potential Mentor Program, further highlighting her leadership and potential within the hospitality industry.
Before joining Silverado Resort, McKenna built a diverse marketing career; beginning in 2012 at VingDirect, where she worked with winery owners to grow their direct-to-consumer sales. She later honed her skills at Friedman’s Home Improvement and BWX, where she managed direct-to-consumer brand websites in the beauty industry. Her transition into hospitality in 2021 allowed her to discover her passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.
