Malliouhana 40th Annual Soirée Supports The Next Generation of Music in Anguilla

Malliouhana, Anguilla’s “Grande Dame,” where we officially kicked off our 40th Anniversary Season of Celebration with style and support for this amazing community.

A benefit for the Anguilla Music Academy (AMA), these signature events at Malliouhana continue to build the legacy of community and people that make this small Caribbean island so unique. The AMA’s mission aligns perfectly with Malliouhana’s commitment to preserving the island’s rich culture, with music one of the pillars of this vibrant nation—along with food and wine, art, and boat racing.

Significant highlights from the impactful and philanthropic 40th Anniversary events—

• MusicFest at Leon’s featured multi-generational performances by legendary artists Bankie Banx, his son Omari Banks, and Omari’s daughters, showcasing Anguilla’s rich musical heritage.
• GRAMMY-nominated artist Natasha Bedingfield generously shared her time, incredible talent, and industry experience supporting the Anguilla Music Academy (AMA).
• The immediate impact of the fundraising efforts on the AMA includes newly available scholarships for local music students and the development of guest experiences that will continue to fund and support the efforts.
• Malliouhana’s unique position in Caribbean luxury hospitality blends high-end amenities with cultural preservation in an effort that draws local and global attention and support.
