NAPLES, Fla. (May 22, 2024) – LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, a Noble House Resort nestled along the pristine white sands and sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico, proudly announces the successful culmination of its comprehensive 18-month restoration journey. Meticulously undertaken, this endeavor marks the restoration of the award-winning resort to its former esteemed glory following significant damages incurred from Hurricane Ian in September of 2022.
LaPlaya’s revitalization project encompassed 189 of the resort’s luxurious and spacious guest rooms, the complete rebuild and elevated design enhancements of the famed Beach House, and the restoration of its four beachside pools.
Design Details & Enhancements
The resort’s Gulf Tower and Bay Tower have undergone a complete exterior and interior rejuvenation, boasting a harmonious blend of vibrant hues and coastal-modern designs. In-room, eco-friendly enhancements feature electric mirrors with steel chassis made from 23% post-consumer recycled content, along with WaterSense toilets aimed at reducing water consumption. The surrounding tower grounds have been refreshed and renewed, once again beckoning guests to explore the lush, tropical landscape and to relax beachside as the calm turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico gently kiss the shore.
Ideally situated on Vanderbilt Beach, the Beach House underwent extensive enhancements during the restoration process. These enhancements include modern ocean-inspired color schemes, stylish in-room furniture, and new climate control systems. The Beach House also features private outdoor fire pits for the ground floor beachfront Lanai rooms, expansive walk-in showers accented with coastal-chic barn doors, modern wood grain tile flooring and upgraded patio furniture aimed at maximizing guests’ beachside comfort.

Additional Key Design Updates
- BALEEN Naples – The resort’s award-winning beachfront restaurant underwent a series of enhancements, including new coastal-chic terrace furniture and handsome interior flooring.
- Elements Bar – The beachside lounge is now complete with new inviting fire pits, lounge furniture and tropical greenery.
- Poolside Cabanas – The poolside lounging area now includes brand new cabanas featuring new design covers, brand new flatscreen TVs, ceiling fans, lounge chaises and personal speakers. Each cabana includes a stocked refrigerator with various drinks, a basket of snacks and a Chef’s choice fresh fruit amenity. Scented, chilled, or warmed towels are provided upon check-in to the cabana.
- Resort Pools – Three of the spacious resort pools underwent significant interior and exterior cosmetic renovations, including resurfacing, painting and lush greenery installations.
- SpaTerre – LaPlaya’s relaxing 4,500-square-foot spa features luxurious ocean-facing Japanese soaking tubs, six private treatment rooms and an enticing selection of custom services, ranging from rejuvenating facials, natural nail services, indulgent couples’ massages and infrared sauna.
- Fitness Center – The fitness center is refreshed and boasts a diverse range of workout machines within a bright and spacious environment, complemented by convenient towel services.
