Introducing Wai Kai, Oahu’s new waterfront recreation and lifestyle venue – and one of the most anticipated openings across Hawaii for the year – is now open.
Wai Kai is a year-round venue for active adventurers anchored by the Wai Kai Wave, Hawaii’s first deep-water standing wave, and the adjacent 52-acre recreational Wai Kai Lagoon. The Wai Kai Wave spans 100 feet and offers an unrivaled surf experience for all levels, from beginner to pro, with hands-on instruction available from professional surfers.
The venue offers three exceptional restaurants including The LookOut Food & Drink with front-row views of the surf action. And critically acclaimed Kitchen Door Napa debuts in Hawaii as Wai Kai’s signature restaurant with a dual-dining concept housed in a two-story, 7,200-square-foot venue.
Events include a spellbinding weekly show featuring dancers, musicians and surfers along with Sustainability Sundays, local farmers markets, Wahine (Women) Wednesdays and more. The state-of-the-art facility fills a burgeoning need for a gathering place for the community and visitors alike in an unparalleled setting on the west side of Oahu.
