45th Anniversary On-site Activations
This May, the resort will host an expanded version of its annual Lei Day festivities in honor of the anniversary year. From April 28 to May 4, Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa will have on-site activities including, but not limited to, live music and hula performances, sustainability themed tours, Hawaiian cultural demonstrations and games including lei making, lauhala coconut weaving, ukulele classes and more.
In addition to the dedicated offer and May celebrations, the resort has introduced new on-property activations that continue the anniversary celebrations throughout the entire year including:
- Aloha Plate and Pours, a quarterly dining series celebrating Maui’s culinary artistry and locally crafted libations. Savor dishes from ‘Umalu Chef Ryan Ferguson alongside a rotating roster of other talented Maui chefs, each adding their own signature style. Guests will also enjoy a curated selection of locally crafted drinks for a complete sensory experience in an incredible Hawaiian-style alfresco setting.

45th Anniversary Social Media Giveaways
Hyatt Regency Maui will host quarterly social media giveaways throughout the year to celebrate its 45th anniversary, with the first giveaway currently underway and open through February 17. The resort will give away four five-night vacations to a single winner per quarter. To enter, participants must follow the resort on both Instagram and TikTok, share a post of their most beloved Maui memories, tag the resort (@hyattmaui), and use the hashtag #MyHyattMauiMemories for a single entry. One winner will be selected each quarter, with remaining giveaways scheduled for April, July, and October.

Lunar Eclipse Viewing and Movie Night
In March, the resort invites guests to embark on an unforgettable celestial journey in line with the lunar eclipse on the 13th. As the Earth moves between the Moon and the Sun, registered hotel guests will be treated to an immersive astronomical experience led by the resort’s resident NASA Solar System Ambassador. The expert will share their knowledge and passion for the cosmos through engaging educational opportunities, including interactive discussions and guided observations with the resort’s high-powered telescope. To enhance the experience, the resort is pairing the viewing party with a special movie night, weather and clouds permitting.
The Return of Nashville Nights
Hyatt Regency Maui’s popular Nashville Nights songwriter’s series returns in 2025 with an exciting lineup of up-and-coming country artists from the Music City. The concert series, spanning a duration of six months, promises an electrifying lineup featuring performances by an impressive roster of five platinum-selling recording artists and one gold-selling recording artist. Audiences can expect to be treated to a captivating showcase of chart-topping hits that have dominated the music scene, ensuring an unforgettable experience for music enthusiasts of all ages. Each outdoor performance will take place on the Halona Kai event lawn from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, creating a relaxed setting for live music under the stars.
