The rise in all-inclusive resort popularity is soaring in 2022. This is particularly true with couples and romance in mind?
With National Resurrect Romance Week coming up on August 7th, travelers can look to the industry’s leading all-inclusive luxury resort company that caters specifically to couples and dreamy vacations in the Caribbean, Sandals Resorts, to re-spark the flame. Romantic all-inclusive travel for couples is more popular than ever, with Sandals seeing their best fall season for bookings on record and many of their resorts generating twice as many bookings versus historic trends.
As an innovator in this space, Sandals launched its first-ever trend-house called Institute of Romance, where the brand analyzes data and surveys to implement into its portfolio’s programming, design, and experiences moving forward, to ensure they are always listening to couple’s needs. For example, the latest “romance pulse” survey concluded that a whopping 85% of guests feel more connected with their partner post-stay at Sandals.
On resort, Sandals continues to offer couples’ a romance-focused retreat to unplug and rekindle relationships. From bedside bubbly, to watching the Caribbean sunsets, and butler-drawn outdoor rose petal baths on private balconies. Top favorite activities include relaxing seaside couples’ treatments from the Red Lane Spa and more adventurous experiences like unlimited deep-sea scuba diving. On top of that, couples just starting their journey together can receive expert advice from Sandals’ all-included Engagement Concierge, while long-lasting couples can retie the knot in paradise.
Sandals Resorts is continuing to expand its adults-only couples’ resorts with two brand new properties: Sandals Royal Curacao, which celebrated its grand opening and the brand’s first venture into the idyllic Dutch Caribbean last month, and Sandals Dunn’s River which began accepting bookings earlier this month for arrivals beginning May 24, 2023. The brand recently rolled out their innovative new Island Inclusive dining program at Sandals Royal Curacao, re-defining all-inclusive by expanding its offerings to eight local restaurants for couples to support local businesses and get to explore the island authentically.
