Hilton Lake Como Lifts the Curtain on New Theatrical Dining Experiences with Le Petit Chef

April 2023…// Hilton Lake Como, the new-generation hotel on the shores of Italy’s most famous lake, is delighted to unveil a new interactive culinary offering in partnership with the globally renowned ‘dinner theatre’ Le Petit Chef.

A theatrical dining experience for adults and children aged six and up, diners will enjoy sophisticated 3D cinema on their dining-table-turned-screen, combined with outstanding gastronomy using the freshest, local ingredients. The experience is available to book at the hotel’s lower-level Satin restaurant from now until August 2023, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening.

Le Petit Chef at Hilton Lake Como menu offers delectable dishes such as Buffalo Mozzarella Caprese Salad, adorned with locally-sourced lake botanicals, Fish Soup with Mussels and Clams, Heart of Braised Artichokes Alla Romana and a selection of ice creams from Rossetti, Como’s best-loved ice cream shop. The carefully selected ingredients and dedicated kids’ and vegetarian menus cater to every taste, allowing young and mature alike to enjoy an unforgettable culinary journey.

At Le Petit Chef, every guest can look forward to a show on their own plate. Between courses, the table is unobtrusively transformed into a screen, whereupon the little chef entertains with various performances and recordings because his attempts to prepare culinary masterpieces almost always end in disaster. Luckily, the kitchen crew of Hilton Lake Como always help the virtual star out! When the food is on the table, the show moves into the background and the curtain goes up for regional and international delicacies.

With local favorites including Milanese-Style Chicken Breast and Penne with Beef Ragout, even the fussiest of feeders will find something delizioso at this terrace eatery with a view. Meanwhile, little ones and parents alike will revel in the chance to sample the new ‘Eat Your Drink’ dessert cocktail, an edible tipple encased in a chocolate sphere combining milk, vanilla, coconut foam and crumble – with adult, alcoholic version available!
