Discover Summertime in the Ozarks at Big Cedar Lodge

This summer, there’s much to celebrate as families embark on summer travel. To mark the season, the award-winning, family-friendly wilderness resort Big Cedar Lodge is launching its “Best Summer Ever” season with picnics, fishing, glamping, and adventure. Below, please see this summer’s programming highlights:

• Guy’s Getaway: Kick off a trip with a tee time at the award-winning Payne’s Valley golf course, designed by Tiger Woods, before heading off on a cave adventure on the Lost Canyon Cave & Nature Trail. Finish up the evening at Buffalo Bar or the resort’s Whiskey Bar for a cigar and nightcap. Spend a day fishing on Table Rock Lake, or play another of Big Cedar’s five golf courses before a round of bowling at Fun Mountain.
• Summer Date Night: Couples can enjoy a memorable evening of wood burning, candy bar making and assembling a decadent charcuterie board. To create a delicious display, they will learn how to decorate candy bars along with piecing together meats, cheeses, veggies, fruits and more. The night will be finished off with burning their favorite design on a souvenir charcuterie board.

• Lady Liberty Cruise: A custom built 62’ luxury dinner yacht captures the beauty of a by-gone era while employing the modern amenities of today. The distinctive yacht has a beautifully appointed main cabin, a unique fantail veranda, and a spacious, open air upper deck. Holding up to 40-45 guests comfortably, Lady Liberty is available for private celebrations as well as corporate and group events.
• Luxury Glamping at Camp Long Creek: Embrace the dog days of summer by glamping or staying in one of Camp Long Creek’s new stylish camp cabins and camp huts alongside Table Rock Lane. Activities and amenities for the whole family include lake “beach” access, a pool with luxe loungers and stunning views of Table Rock Lake, games, and s’mores kits upon arrival.
• Summer Dance Party– A memorable 4th of July celebration will be held at the Swimmin’ Hole with a night of non-stop fun, featuring a DJ, electrifying dance beats, exciting games, thrilling competitions, mouthwatering s’mores, and so much more! This exclusive event will take place on Saturday, July 1st from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Prepare to groove to a fantastic mix of music and participate in thrilling competitions for a chance to win amazing prizes.
