Chocholá, Yucatán (Mexico) – Chablé Hotels, Mexico’s leading luxury hospitality and wellness brand, is pleased to announce the addition of new Chablé Yucatán Residences in the heart of Mexico’s famed Yucatán Peninsula outside the historic city of Mérida. The 28 spectacular residences will make up a luxury branded community developed to provide guests with a heightened level of exclusivity, tranquility and connection with nature in a single private space.
Nestled in the resort’s lush jungle, the private residences will include nine five-bedroom Royal Villas with a four-story observatory tower and 19 three-bedroom Family Villas. The first Chablé Yucatán Residence will be completed by the end of 2022 and serve as a model for the additional residences to be constructed and delivered turn-key 16 months after reservation.
The three-bedroom Family Villas at Chablé Yucatán will span over 10,400 sq. ft. of interior space and outdoor terraces while the five-bedroom Royal Villas offer an expansive footprint of 24,667 sq. ft. Designed for optimal indoor-outdoor living, the single-level secluded residences will feature luxurious interiors, a bar and library, state-of-the-art kitchen and open concept dining and living rooms overlooking a private swimming pool, jacuzzi and lounge area. Each spacious bedroom has a bathroom, walk-in closet and an independent terrace.
The grand Royal Villa showcases its own four-story observatory tower with a cinema, personal gym, private spa cabin, powder room, and rooftop observatory accessible by stairs and a private elevator. The exclusive Royal Villas also boast personal Ka’anches (traditional Mayan gardens) with owner-selected fruits and vegetables to be planted and enjoyed.
The Chablé Residences were conceptualized by Architect Jose Carlos Lombana whose vision was to create spaces that seamlessly blend the unique natural environment, with traditional and contemporary architecture to awaken a sense of belonging. Inspired by Mexican pyramids from Mesoamerican culture, the sprawling villas emulate traditional Mayan construction techniques using natural “Zacate” fiber-pitched roofing and textiles throughout. Warm Tzalam and Cumarú wood ceilings are offset by white Vermont marble floors and the villa’s facade is finished with locally sourced limestone. Interior Designer Paulina Moran drew inspiration from Mayan culture and the Yucatán’s rich history for a design that entices the senses and blends stunning architecture with authentic Mexican aesthetic and elegant modern comforts.
The exclusive residences will provide owners access to the premium experiences and luxury amenities available at the 750-acre wellness resort, including the world-renowned spa, highly acclaimed restaurants with menus curated by acclaimed Chef Jorge Vallejo, wellness golf course, fitness center, tennis courts, pool, a new kids club, Meliponario (endemic honeybees), whitetail deer sanctuary and more. Dedicated staff including private chefs and butlers are also available upon request.
In keeping with Chablé’s commitment to sustainability, the residences will exist in complete harmony with the environment, preserve the natural biodiversity of the Yucatán Peninsula, and respect Mayan culture.
The limited pre-sale window kicked off in September 2022, with entry pricing starting at $4 million USD for three-bedroom villas and $9 million USD for five-bedroom. Owners will have the benefits of the exclusive Chablé membership and the option to put their residences into Chablé Yucatán’s hotel rental program. chablehotels.com/yucatan/residences/
