A few special events include:

• Lakefront Fireworks: Elevate your backyard firework show at Milwaukee’s lakefront firework extravaganza on July 3rd. Patrons can also take free kite lessons at the Fireworks Kite Festival in Veterans Park prior to the show.

• $4 on the 4th: Milwaukee’s Zoo offers $4 admission to all visitors on July 4th and is filled to the brim with ways to celebrate. Families can see RED ruffed lemurs, WHITE shama, or the Grand Cayman BLUE iguana while sporting their best red, white, and blue attire.
