Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort & Spa, a luxurious 605-room resort located on 50 immaculately landscaped oceanfront acres overlooking Keoneloa Bay, expands its wellness experience with new signature services at Anara Spa. The new treatments include the Mana Lomi Massage and the Detox ‘Oma’Oma’o Scrub. The spa also debuts a new guided hydrotherapy circuit which utilizes its tranquil whirlpools and state-of-the-art cold plunge.
Designed to provide powerful hands-on healing, Mana Lomi symbolically means “to communicate energetically deep within the bones of the individual and thus with the soul.” This new treatment is based on Hawaiian healing concepts that have been passed down from generation to generation, and encompasses rhythmic strokes to provide deep therapeutic benefits.
The Detox ‘Oma’Oma’o Scrub begins with a full body exfoliation using Hawaiian salt, sugar, papaya powder, lilikoi, and potent Hawaiian spirulina. The antioxidant-infused scrub is designed to help rejuvenate old skin cells and neutralize UV damage. The service continues with a full body massage utilizing raw butters, botanical oils, and an essential oil blend of neroli, yuzu and bergamot.
In addition to the new services, Anara Spa features a robust menu of services that honor the Hawaii traditions of balance and wisdom of nature, and finding lokahi – unity, harmony, and balance. Additional signature services range from the Lomi Lomi, Hawaii’s traditional massage that embraces guests with flowing strokes that soothe tension to the Hawaiian Healing Pedicure featuring a Kokee sugar scrub and Kauai clay mask.
Additionally, Anara Spa debuts a hydrotherapy circuit utilizing its luxurious whirlpools and cold plunge tank. The circuit is designed to flush toxins while improving circulation and blood flow.
Before and after their treatment, guests can enjoy the spa’s amenities including multiple relaxation areas, an outdoor 25-yard lap pool and cold plunge, open-air lava rock showers, a eucalyptus steam room, sauna, whirlpools, and state-of the-art fitness facility. Additionally, guests can opt to enjoy their treatment in an open-air treatment room or a private garden hale (bungalow) surrounded by lush gardens, cascading waterfalls, and the natural ambiance of local birds, fresh island air, and the gentle coastal breeze. Each hale features an adjoining private rock lava outdoor shower for a further nature-infused immersion.

New Touchless Spa Therapies at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort & Spa
The award-winning Stillwater Spa at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino announces the introduction of the “Touchless Trio” service. The “Touchless Trio” is a full body wellness immersion experience that aims to improve overall health while awakening the senses. The new menu of touchless services offers three innovative therapies including the brand-new Cryobuilt Everest Ridge Cryochamber, the “Harmony” bioacoustics mat, and “Pearl” the revolutionary flotation orb.
The “Touchless Trio” experience begins with a three-minute session in the brand-new cryochamber. It offers the latest technology to provide evenly-distributed cooling and a fast recovery time. The cryochamber provides beginner temperatures of -140 degrees Fahrenheit and the highest level of the chamber is -175F which can reduce skin temperatures 30 to 40 percent in as quickly as two minutes. Guests will experience a rush of extremely cold air, stimulating a higher than usual release of endorphins to leave guests feeling uplifted and invigorated after treatment.
Following cryotherapy, guests receive a warm cup of soothing blooming tea. The experience then continues with a 30-minute session on the “Harmony” Biomat, which utilizes vibroacoustic therapy. Guests lay on a comfortable mat embedded with speakers that deliver low-frequency sound pulsations that are designed to provide a deep acoustic massage for joint and tissue relaxation. The Harmony Biomat acoustic therapy is complemented by a celestial lighting machine, featuring calming blue and purple tones. These subtle lighting effects are designed to promote relaxation, enhancing the overall therapeutic experience for guests.
The experience concludes with a 30-minute float session in “Pearl,” a revolutionary float orb that provides a zero-gravity experience. It features a 8’8” interior float length providing a more spacious atmosphere than most commercial float tanks. It also provides a larger side opening which can be left open during a session based on guest preferences. Additionally, guests can enjoy multi-color LED lighting for color therapy as well as a stereo transducer speaker with several soothing soundtracks to create a customized meditative experience.

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina, a waterfront resort located on 342 acres of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, has debuted the Somadome, a state-of-the-art meditation pod. Now available at the resort’s Sago Spa & Salon, the Somadome experience is designed to promote mindful relaxation, stress response, increase sensory perception, and more.
Somadome is the world’s first technology-enabled meditation pod that utilizes color light therapy, magnets, and sound therapy. Meditations in the Somadome utilize binaural beats to enhance meditation experiences. When listening to binaural beats, brain activity syncs with the frequency of those beats which can help the mind reach a certain meditative state.
In addition to the new Somadome, Sago Spa and Salon offers a robust menu of rejuvenating services. Named after the strong underwater grass found in Chesapeake Bay, Sago Spa & Salon offers treatments rooted in natural, sea-based products known for their revitalizing effects. Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa, the premier Texas Hill Country resort located on 300 acres in San Antonio, debuts the Windflower’s Spa Pantry Experience. At the weekly events, participants will work with spa professionals to create their own personalized spa body products to take home.
The Windflower’s Spa Pantry events are open to local residents and resort guests, and will take place every Thursday starting at 2 p.m. The experience will be guided by a spa professional, and will teach guests the fundamentals of essential oils, basics of aromatherapy and how to create a customized body scrub and cream from simple kitchen ingredients. Guests will walk away from the experience with their unique products, made from quality ingredients to use at home.
