Croatia’s Hidden Gem Hotel Hotel Supetar Cavtat Reopens For Season, Relaunching Artist-in-Residence Program

As Hotel Supetar Cavtat prepares to reopen its doors on May 1st  after the seasonal closure, it relaunches its artist in residence program that enhances the guest experience and celebrates the vibrant arts and culture of Croatia.

The program, “SupetART,” transforms the hotel’s communal spaces into vibrant, month-long interactive pop-up galleries.

In collaboration with the esteemed Croatian art consultancy agency, SHPIGL, each exhibition is carefully curated to provide travelers with an immersive experience into Croatian art and culture.

For the May opening, a special homage to the beloved Dubrovnik artist Romana Milutin Fabris is on tap. Renowned for her vivid and colorful depictions of Dubrovnik, Romana’s art captures the essence and timeless beauty of the city she calls home. Through her paintings, Romana conveys her deep emotional connection to Dubrovnik, portraying its streets, churches, and landmarks with a vibrancy that reflects her own joie de vivre. Romana’s dedication to her craft and her city is truly inspiring, making her a fitting emblem of the enduring spirit of Dubrovnik. Her work will be prominently featured throughout the hotel, offering guests a chance to immerse themselves in her captivating creations. The new exhibition will debut on May 8, 2024.
