Congham Hall Hotel & Spa is a charming, privately owned Georgian manor house with 31 bedrooms and suites, set in 50 acres of beautiful parkland with an orchard and a renowned herb garden. The hotel is well located for exploring Norfolk’s coast and countryside, close to the Sandringham Estate, a peaceful rural spot a stone’s throw from Norfolk’s unrivalled sandy beaches, endless historic houses and towns with unique attractions such as Watatunga Wildlife Reserve, Pensthorpe Natural Park and Norfolk Lavender – yet just a few miles from King’s Lynn railway station with direct trains to Norwich, Cambridge and London, accessible in under 2 hours.

Congham Hall was a family home, prior to its opening as a hotel in 1982. The current custodians of Congham Hall are Ruth and Nicholas Dickinson, along with their business partner Nick Dillow, who salvaged Congham from the wreckage of the von Essen era! They saw huge potential in the gorgeous manor and acres of land, and have been restoring the heritage, refurbishing, tweaking and nurturing it into a hidden gem within Norfolk since 2012. With its’ homey, unpretentious feel, cosy log fires, friendly, local staff and gorgeous grounds amongst the nature, Congham Hall offers the perfect combination for a relaxing break in the heart of the English countryside.

Congham Hall has a variety of rooms to choose from – from dog friendly garden rooms to their brand-new cabins offering the ultimate luxury stay under the stars. They have 5 of their architect-designed orchard cabins, each named after the different apples that grow on the trees around them. These contemporary detached cabins match true comfort and beautiful styling whilst immersing you in nature with their monsoon showers and outdoor tubs. The added elements that make Congham Hall a luxury, popular destination are its restaurant and spa. With their renowned Herb Garden, plentiful apple orchards and kitchen garden (that is harvested daily), their 2 AA rosette Samphire Kitchen proudly offers an abundance of fresh, varied seasonal dishes across Afternoon Teas, Sample Tasting Menus and Al La Carte menu that is changed daily. To highlight the provenance, they aim to source 80 per cent of ingredients from within a 20-mile radius!
