Friends of James Beard Chef Invitational | March 1-3

The Friends of James Beard Chef Invitational at Sand Valley brings together some of the best chefs in the Midwest for a weekend food affair that will delight the senses and showcase the best of the region. Guests will embark on a culinary journey with chef demos and fantastic tastings while enjoying live music, winter and wellness activities, and a little friendly competition along the way. Guest chefs include Karen Bell (Milwaukee), Tory Miller (Madison), Amanda Rockman (Austin), Mindy Segal (Chicago) and Sujar Sarkar (Chicago). Fundraising will go to the James Beard Foundation and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.

Brews and Brats | March 15-17

Sand Valley’s Fourth Annual Brews & Brats Weekend will feature tastings from participating breweries, craft beer, indulging comfort foods, music, games and fun activities for the whole family. Saturday’s mini-fest will feature master brewers and representatives from breweries pouring their distinctive crafts and discussing what makes their breweries unique. Guests will enjoy the excitement and raffle giveaways as they determine which brewery takes home the trophy for the best brew of the fest!
