Tour from ArcheoRunning Takes Travelers To Rome’s Most Instagrammable Spots

Travelers short on time can capture many of Rome’s picturesque hot spots with the help of a built-in photographer on ArcheoRunning’s new Instagram Running Tour.

Led by renaissance (wo)man Isabella Calidonna, an art historian, certified tour guide, and coach for the Italian National Olympic Committee, the tour explores all the city’s most iconic landmarks and hidden gems, from the Imperial Forum to the Mouth of Truth. Behind the lens – and accompanied with interesting stories about the location, advice on photo hot spots, picture angles, and more – Calidonna will snap travelers photos in front of the Eternal City’s most iconic locations.

The private running (or walking, if travelers prefer) tour begins early in the morning to avoid the crowds. The first stop is at the Spanish Steps to capture the alluring view of the Fontana della Barcaccia before the city comes alive.
