Grand Hyatt Vail Announces Thanksgiving and Holiday Moments Line-Up
Pleased to share holiday activations and experiences just announced from Grand Hyatt Vail. From extravagant holiday dinners to festive themed activities set amongst the beautiful Colorado pines and adjacent to Chair 20, Grand Hyatt Vail is the perfect holiday basecamp for winter enthusiasts.
In conjunction with this holiday season Grand Hyatt Vail’s Save Now, Ski Later offer, allows guests to book their winter getaway by November 30, 2022 and receive 10 percent off nightly rates and earn 10,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points for stays from November 11 to April 15.
Thanksgiving Lunch Buffet at Gessner:
Spend this Thanksgiving with a buffet lunch at Gessner featuring traditional dishes and modern takes on guest favorites. Feast on an array of dishes featuring curried butternut squash soup, mandarin salad and chilled seafood for starters; honey citrus slow roasted turkey and smoked prime rib at the hand carved roasting station; croissant brioche stuffing, traditional sweet potato casserole, stout braised short ribs, seared salmon, almond shallot brussels sprouts and more for the main dishes finished with an assortment of desserts including traditional holiday pies and fall inspired mini desserts. Gessner Thanksgiving buffet will be offered from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 24, priced at $80 per person with children under 12 paying their age.
Grand Winter Moments:
Grand Winter Moments at Grand Hyatt Vail will consist of daily festive activities and special dining experiences from Monday, December 19 to Sunday, January 1. Guests can expect two weeks of holiday cheer with daily s’mores roasting, hot cocoa and cookies, ornament and stocking decorating, après and live music, champagne sabering, ‘aprètunity’ in the Moët Yurt, family movie night, free Topgolf, caricatures, gingerbread house decorating, meeting Santa, Menorah lighting and more. Grand Winter Moments activations (excluding holiday meals and the New Year’s Eve Bash) are reserved exclusively for resort guests.
Christmas and New Year’s Eve Dinner:
Featuring specialized menus and additional items, enjoy a holiday eve dinner at two of Grand Hyatt Vail’s distinguished restaurants, Gessner, or Yoshimi Pop-Up. Dinner for Christmas or New Year’s Eve will be available from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Christmas Dinner Buffet at Gessner:
Grand Hyatt Vail will host a Christmas buffet featuring French onion soup, bone-in tomahawk, and coconut curry swordfish. Hand carved roasts will be served with sides such as corn bread stuffing, roasted rainbow carrots with maple brussels sprouts, and truffle mac and cheese. Holiday pie and fall flavored mini desserts will be available, along with a cookie decorating station. The Christmas buffet will be offered from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 25, priced at $90 per person with children under 12 paying their age.
New Year’s Eve Festivities:
Celebrate the new year in style with dinner at Grand Hyatt Vail’s signature restaurant, Gessner or enjoy special menu offers at Yoshimi Pop-Up. Other celebrations on December 1st include a Kids Area in the Gore Creek Market for a fun night of pizza, Xbox and PlayStation games, board games and more from 5:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Located in the Fireside Lounge, adults can ring in the new year with the Ball Drop Party. From 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., dance the night away with a DJ, $23 Champagne splits, dessert bar and more.
Private Dining
Those seeking an intimate dining experience may opt to dine in a private space at Grand Hyatt Vail. Choose from one of three private event spaces including Gessner’s private dining room, the Moët Imperial Yurt, or Private Boardrooms. The event space pricing is $1000, $2000 and $500 respectively with a hosting fee of $200 per person, $100 per kid 12 and under, interested parties need a minimum of eight people to book.
