Ho Ho Holidays in New England at The Glen House

November 15, 2021. Green’s Grant, NH. It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays at The Glen House, the award-winning 68-room hotel at the base of Mt. Washington. The snow has started to fall in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, where the New England holiday spirit is alive and well.

The new Holidays in New England package welcomes guests to celebrate at The Glen House. The package includes a two-night stay with lots of trimmings, including cookies and milk delivered to the room upon arrival, and a stocking filled with treats. It also includes snow tubing for two at Great Glen Trails Outdoor Center, which is adjacent to the hotel. Guests will even find their guestroom decorated for the holidays.

Great Glen Trails also has snowshoeing and cross country skiing available, as well as rental equipment. After a day outdoors, or following some holiday shopping at the outlets in nearby North Conway, it’s time to gather around the fire pit on the deck of The Glen House. The hotel’s spectacular bar area, which was named “The Most Beautiful Bar in New Hampshire” by Architectural Digest, offers a fireplace and dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows looking out on the snow covered Presidential Range.

The Notch Grille is where to find breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a range of comfort food favorites, from Bacon-Wrapped Scallops and Short Rib Tacos to Wild Mushroom Risotto, Baked Haddock and Steak Tips (please note that menus are seasonal and subject to change).

Pups Are Welcome Too

Dogs are always welcome at The Glen House. Just ask for a dog-friendly guest room and bring a loyal four-legged companion along for fun in the snow. Pet Policy: A nightly pet fee of $20 will be charged, which includes the use of a doggie bed and water bowl, as well as treats. Based on supply, which is first-come, first-served.
