5 Things to Do in Punta Mita
While for some lying on our villa’s beautiful beach with a cocktail in hand is the perfect activity level for their vacation, for others, it’s getting active that makes the trip. Here are some of our favorite things to do in Punta Mita. Many of these activities can be enjoyed without even leaving Palmasola which some might say makes us the most perfect Punta Mita villa rental option out there.
GOLF
Punta Mita is home to world class golf and Palmasola guests can perfect their swing at two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf courses in Punta Mita, the Pacific and the Bahia. The famous Tail of the Whale (the unique island hole, only accessible when the tide is out) is visible right from our beachfront, so you can work out how best to tackle it from your sun lounger on the sand.
PICKLEBALL
Jump on the rising pickleball trend with a game right here in the villa. We’ll get you set up for a game or five (it’s totally addictive) and make sure that there are snacks and drinks on hand to help you make your best shots. But who will win the Punta Mita Pickleball championship?
SURFING
Riviera Nayarit is a surfer’s paradise and Punta Mita has some fantastic spots for beginners and advanced surfers alike. Whether you want to get out on the waves by yourself or take a lesson, La Lancha break at the El Surf Beach Club is perfect for everyone, including total beginners. More advanced surfers may also want to head to El Faro. We will book you a class or organize to transport you and your boards to the best beaches during your stay.
SPA DAY
No Punta Mita vacation is complete without a massage or two. For those looking for a more relaxing activity or wanting to soothe tired muscles after, surfing, golf and pickleball, a spa day is essential. We have two indoor locations for a tranquil treatment, or you can enjoy a massage beachside accompanied by the gentle soundtrack of the waves.
WHALE WATCHING
If you are looking for a luxury villa in Punta Mita from where you can spot whales breeching offshore, look no further than Palmasola. Between December and March whales pass through the Bay of Banderas to mate and birth their calves and are often visible from Palmasola. We can also organize a boat trip for you to head out and see them up close, hear their beautiful song and marvel at their majesty.
