Taking inspiration from the cycles of the moon, Gdas Bali Health and Wellness Resort recognizes the significance of the new moon as a time for new beginnings and setting intentions. “New Moon Gratitude” offers guests an opportunity to align with the natural rhythms of the universe, cultivate a mindset of appreciation, and experience Bali’s authentic traditions.

At the heart of the “New Moon Gratitude” event is the celebration and exploration of Balinese cultural activities deeply rooted in religious traditions. Mesaiban, Mesodan, Mejejaitan, Metanding, and Mebanten are rituals that form part of the daily life of the Balinese people, serving as a means to seek protection and blessings from the divine. During the event, participants will have the privilege of engaging in these traditional Balinese activities under the guidance of experienced local practitioners. They will learn the art of crafting daily offerings, known as “banten,” and gain insight into the spiritual significance and symbolism behind each ritual. Through these immersive experiences, guests will gain a deeper appreciation for the Balinese way of life and connect with the rich cultural heritage of the island.
