Women-led Grounds Crew to Ready U.S. Women’s Open Championship Course at Pebble Beach

In a few weeks, the world’s greatest golf athletes will arrive at Pebble Beach Resorts to compete in the most coveted championship in women’s golf – the 2023 U.S. Women’s Open Championship. This iconic moment on the world’s most iconic golf course will be a part of women’s golf history, and Pebble Beach will welcome more than just female golfers to mark this historic event.

This year, a team of 33 women is set to join the resort’s grounds crew to ready Pebble Beach Golf Links for championship play.

The woman-led crew arrives on July 2 to support Pebble Beach Resorts’ 60-staff grounds crew, and together the group will begin prep before sunrise each morning to ensure the course is pristine and tournament ready.
