In a world where passion drives performance, few spectacles rival the raw intensity of rugby or the deep sense of belonging it creates. Rooted in heritage and powered by heart, the game turns every match into a shared moment. At the center of that tradition stands the Six Nations, the oldest rugby competition in the world.
The Six Nations is an annual international rugby competition with men’s teams hailing from England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales. Kicking off on February 5 and concluding on March 14, the tournament will travel to each team’s nations, including London and Edinburgh–home to two of YTL Hotels’s luxury boutique properties.
Located in the quiet Bloomsbury quarter of central London, The Academy comprises five restored Georgian townhouses combined into one hotel, with 50 beautifully-appointed bedrooms. Travelers attending the London matches at Twickenham Stadium on February 7 and February 21 can take advantage of The Academy’s convenient location, well-served by several of the city’s tube lines. In Edinburgh, The Glasshouse Hotel is the perfect home base for rugby fans, just a 20 minute tram ride from Murrayfield Stadium, which will host games on February 14 and March 7. With 77 luxurious rooms and suites—17 of which are aptly named after quintessential Scotch whiskies—the property is located in the heart of the historic city behind the 172-year-old façade of Lady Glenorchy’s Church.
