Vakkaru Maldives Launches New Holistic Wellness Programmes, Visiting Practitioners and Classes

Baa Atoll, Republic of Maldives, 10 July 2024 – Having recently welcomed resident fitness and wellness instructor, Praveen Kavumchal – a yogi, Reiki master, healer, and spa expert – Vakkaru Maldives is delighted to be launching a series of wellness activations in 2024 to help guests focus on their health and wellbeing during their stay. Guests will now be able to make the most of personalized wellness programs, new weekly programs designed by Praveen and his team, to help them maintain or reach their optimal fitness and health goals whilst residing in paradise; and exclusive time with visiting practitioners.

Vakkaru Maldives now offers a balance of experiences such as meditation, Reiki, breath work, yoga, crystal bowl sound healing, Pilates, HIIT, functional training, and more. These new wellness offerings beautifully complement the existing Ayurveda therapies that are available at the resort’s award-winning Merana Spa and provide guests with yet another way to boost their spirit, body, mind, and soul whilst enjoying their island getaway.

Further to classes and in combination with the new private wellness sessions available below, an individual’s wellness program can be uniquely created.
