PORTLAND, Ore. (December 1, 2025) – The Ritz-Carlton, Portland invites locals and travelers to celebrate New Year’s Eve with an evening of live music, dining and dancing on Wednesday, Dec. 31. For the second year, the luxury hotel will transform The Ritz-Carlton Ballroom into a celebration featuring rock legend Tommy Thayer of KISS alongside hometown favorite Dan Reed of DRN. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Oregon and Southwest Washington veterans, military personnel and first responders through the Thayer Family Foundation.

New Year’s Eve Party
Running from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., the evening will begin with a cocktail reception featuring bites such as beetroot tartare, eggplant and miso, tuna tataki, quail and pesto roulade, and yellowtail. Guests will then enjoy a four-course dinner curated by Executive Chef Pedro Almeida, featuring dishes such as oyster tartare with blue cheese frozen mousse, truffled lobster bisque, seared and smoked scallops with caviar, and a Wagyu beef entrée finished with smoked beef jus, rounded out by a champagne-raspberry-almond dessert. An open bar will flow throughout the night, with live performances by Thayer, Reed, Rob Daiker, Dancehall Days and DJ Tom Holland. At midnight, guests will toast with champagne as 2026 arrives, with dancing continuing until 1 a.m. Tickets are $399 per person, and the event is open to guests 21+. Guests can enhance the celebration with the hotel’s New Year’s Eve Party package, which includes two party tickets, executive suite or deluxe accommodations, a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, breakfast for two at Bellpine and valet parking.
Bellpine New Year’s Eve Dinner
For those seeking a more intimate evening, Bellpine will offer a lavish holiday tasting menu set against sweeping views of the city from the restaurant’s 20th-floor, accompanied by a DJ and a champagne toast at midnight. Highlights from Chef Almeida’s seasonal tasting menu include prawn with pomegranate veil, maple-glazed foie gras bao, mackerel with shaved radish and fennel, and an eye of ribeye prepared tableside, concluding with a passion fruit white chocolate sphere. Seatings are available beginning at 5 p.m. with wine pairings available. The tasting menu is $149 per adult and $75 per child, with 20% gratuity added to the bill. Bellpine New Year’s Day Brunch
The celebration continues New Year’s Day with brunch at Bellpine from 7 to 11 a.m., featuring Chef Almeida’s signature dishes with panoramic views of the city and mountains. Highlights include Dungeness crab chilaquiles, king salmon cake, duck rillette, and brunch classics like traditional Benedict and made-to-order omelets. Reservations are available on OpenTable.
