PALM BEACH – (December 17, 2025) – The Royal Poinciana Plaza and WS Development are thrilled to share that Tutto Mare, the Mediterranean concept from the Tutto il Giorno restaurant group, is officially set to open on January 2, 2026. The Town of Palm Beach’s first and only intra-coastal waterfront restaurant will seat 200 guests and features a main dining room with a bar, a private dining room, two wine rooms, and a 1,200 SF terrace overlooking Lake Worth Lagoon and Palm Harbor Marina.
“Our vision for The Royal has always been to create an experience that feels simultaneously welcoming and best in class,” said Samantha David, President of WS Development. “When we began imagining the rebirth of the historic Playhouse restaurant, we knew it deserved a concept as exceptional and unique as its setting, something unlike anything else in the world but which people would see as their new home away from home. The task was not easy, but Gabby and Gianpaolo, as they say, understood the assignment. The opening of Tutto Mare brings that vision to life, with an exciting new chapter of dining and gathering on Palm Beach Island.
Tutto il Giorno was founded in 2008 by husband-and-wife team Gianpaolo de Felice and Gabby Karan de Felice, along with their partners Gally and David Mayer. Born from a shared dream of creating a seaside outdoor dining experience reminiscent of Gianpaolo’s upbringing in Southern Italy, the group has grown to include locations in Southampton, East Hampton, and Sag Harbor, New York. When Gianpaolo envisioned expanding to Palm Beach and discovered the historic Royal Poinciana Playhouse, he knew it was the perfect home for the newest extension of the Tutto family.
“With Tutto Mare, we wanted to honor the rich history of the Playhouse while introducing our vision of coastal Mediterranean dining to Palm Beach,” said Gabby Karan de Felice, co-founder and designer of the Tutto il Giorno restaurant group. “With a vision to create an atmosphere that feels both chic and welcoming, we drew inspiration from my travels and blended the relaxed elegance of the Hamptons with Palm Beach’s distinctive character. The end result is a space where the community can gather, celebrate good food and wine, and embrace the art of living well.”
Under the direction of Executive Chef Agostino Petrosino and Chef de Cuisine Carmine Nozzolino, Tutto Mare offers coastal Mediterranean cuisine, featuring signature dishes such as branzino acqua pazza, fritto misto, insalata di mare, and paccheri con frutti di mare.
Designed by Gabby de Felice and Donna Karan in collaboration with Dominic Kozerski and Enrico Bonetti of Bonetti Kozerski Architecture, the design of Tutto Mare pays homage to the historic Playhouse while embracing its waterfront surroundings. The main dining room features 12-foot vaulted oak-beamed ceilings and opens directly to the 1,200-square-foot terrace, carefully designed as an extension of the dining room. At the heart of the restaurant, the Celebrity Room retains the restored late 1950’s trompe l’oeil mural titled Venetian Festival by New York artist Robert Bushnell, featuring caricatures of over 100 actors and celebrities of the time that frequented the Celebrity Room, including Clark Gable, Joan Crawford and Fred Astaire.
The interiors draw inspiration from the natural light reflecting off Lake Worth Lagoon, using a warm palette of oak, travertine, and teak, complemented by textured materials and layered lighting that evolves throughout the day. Together, each space engages visually with the water and natural light to create an intimate and comfortable ambiance.
For Palm Beach locals and visitors alike, Tutto Mare promises to deliver a waterfront dining experience unlike any other in Palm Beach.
