Port St. Lucie, Fla. — November 3, 2025 — Tesoro Club, the Treasure Coast’s premier golf club community, is proud to announce the addition of Jon Beckmann as Director of Agronomy, reinforcing the Club’s continued investment in the quality of its golf programs.
In his role, Beckmann will oversee BrightView, the company responsible for maintaining Tesoro Club’s signature courses, ensuring an exceptional playing experience for members and guests.
Beckmann brings nearly five decades of experience in golf course construction, maintenance, and operations. He began his career in 1978 and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Golf Course Operations. He is an active member of the Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA), the Palm Beach Golf Course Superintendents Association, and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA).

At Tesoro Club, agronomy is an art and a science. It encompasses the management of turfgrass and soil to create optimal playing conditions — including selecting the right grass species, managing soil fertility, ensuring proper water and air movement, and implementing pest control to produce healthy, resilient, and playable surfaces year-round. This role is central to maintaining Tesoro Club’s reputation as a world-class golf destination, where quality and attention to detail set the standard for every round.
