Sumaq Machu Picchu has been accepted into Small Luxury Hotels (SLH). In addition to the new affiliation, the 62-key boutique property at the base of the UNESCO World Heritage Site also announces the following new wellness experiences for guests in 2026:
- Treatments at Aqlla Spa inspired by ancient Andean traditions. Treatments incorporate Inca techniques and local ingredients (quinoa, honey, pink Maras salt, coca, muña, Andean stones) aimed at easing muscular tension, improving circulation, and relieving stress.
- Meditation Self-care Kits in each room – includes candle, crystal, an eye mask, lavender essential oil, and a mindfulness guide.
- Insuite Sleep Ritual – includes special bedding, a pillow menu, an array of relaxing music options to choose from, and a salt lamp that cleanses the air, improves mood and brings significant benefits to the body.
