Ranking Scottsdale: The Top Courses in The World’s Finest Golf Destination

Ever wondered which public golf courses truly stand out in Scottsdale, Ariz., the world’s premier golf destination?

While the golf world is awash with ranking lists of top courses, not one outlet (to our knowledge) has ever ranked Scottsdale’s best public/resort courses. Until now.

Nearly 100 national and international golf journalists were asked to evaluate Scottsdale’s roster of courses, creating the first-ever comprehensive ranking. The top five spots were claimed by:

3. Ak-Chin Southern Dunes
4. Troon North Golf Club’s Monument Course
5. Boulders North Course

Outside the top 10 was a bevy of excellent options that just missed the cut by a point or two, as well as a few hidden gems, like Rancho Manana (views) and Mountain Shadows (a thrilling short course) the respondents felt should not be missed.
