Golf season has officially returned to the mountains, and Promontory Club is teeing off in a big way in Park City, Utah.
Set across 7,200 acres, the exclusive, private community has opened all three of its championship courses: The Dye Canyon Course, The Hills Course and The Nicklaus Painted Valley Course.
The Hills Course clubhouse—newest of the three—recently earned national recognition, named 2024 Clubhouse of the Year by Golf Inc.

With panoramic alpine views and distinct course designs from legends Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, Promontory offers one of the most diverse high-altitude golf experiences in the country.
Beyond the fairways, Promontory continues to grow as one of the West’s most sought-after luxury communities, accounting for 34% of home sales in Park City last year. Spanning 1,924 homesites, the club is home to 1,139 members—78 percent full golf members and 22 percent social members—underscoring its strong demand and engaged community. Members enjoy access to 18 signature amenities (with more in development), including three 18-hole golf courses, four simulator lounges, six restaurants, and a world-class equestrian center.
This season also brings elevated member programming:
- The club’s Fourth of July Red, White & Blue tournament expands into a multi-day, club-wide celebration honoring the nation’s 250th anniversary
- A reimagined Family Cup introduces a dynamic, multi-generational team format designed to bring families together on the course.
As always, the club’s focus remains on delivering exceptional course conditioning and playability. Promontory’s agronomy team continues to refine course conditions with firm, consistent playing surfaces, strong turf health, and meticulous attention to detail—ensuring a premier golf experience that sets the club apart.
With the 2026 golf season beginning this weekend, Promontory is once again setting the stage for a summer of championship play, luxury living, and community-driven experiences.
