Mission Inn Resort & Club Welcomes the LPGA Symetra Tour May 24-30

Over 140 players from 47 countries will compete in the Mission Inn Resort & Club Championship on May 24 -30, 2021.The 56-hole stroke-play tournament is part of the Symetra Tour, preparing the world’s best young women professional golfers for a career in the LPGA.

This year’s Symetra Tour includes over $4 million in purse money, the highest in the 41-year history of the tour. The Mission Inn event features a total purse of $200, 000. The winner will take home $18,750.  Last year’s Mission Inn winner was Matilda Castren.
The tournament will also include a $3,500 Pro-AM VIP Experience event on May 26 and 27.

The Symetra Tour is the official qualifying tour of the LPGA Tour and enters its 41st competitive season in 2021. Since Symetra’s inaugural sponsorship year in 2012, the Symetra Tour has grown from 16 tournaments and $1.7 million in prize money to a record $4.0 million in prize money awarded in 2019. With more than 600 alumnae moving on to the LPGA, former Symetra Tour players have won a total of 445 LPGA titles.
