Cobo succeeds Pascal Billard, whose distinguished leadership strengthened the hotel’s international reputation and positioned it among Europe’s top five-star accommodations.

With an extensive international background in luxury hotel management, Cobo joins the Majestic following a successful tenure as General Manager at Park Hyatt Dubai, where he oversaw both the hotel and its exclusive golf resort. During his leadership, he drove consistent growth, spearheaded the development of 22 new luxury villas, and forged innovative culinary partnerships. Under his direction, the property earned several notable accolades, including Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice – Best Hotel in the Middle East (2022), Time Out Dubai – Best Brunch (2021 & 2022), and World Travel Awards – Best Golf Course in the Middle East (2023).
A graduate in International Hotel Management from Les Roches Marbella, Cobo has built his career with prestigious brands such as Four Seasons and Maybourne Group, holding key leadership roles across London, Paris, Bora Bora, and Dubai. His management approach combines strong operational expertise with a strategic vision focused on service excellence and guest-centric innovation.
