A destination beyond the summer season
For the Consorzio Costa Smeralda, Longevity Weeks Costa Smeralda also represents a wider ambition: to position Costa Smeralda as a destination with a year-round cultural and experiential calendar, extending its appeal beyond the traditional summer season.
The initiative forms part of the Consorzio’s long-standing commitment to protecting and safeguarding a territory in which 96% of the consortium area remains green, stretching across 55 kilometers of coastline from Portisco to Liscia di Vacca.
By bringing sport, science, food and wellbeing together within this extraordinary natural environment, Longevity Weeks offers a new perspective on a destination often associated primarily with luxury travel. Here, the landscape itself becomes part of the conversation and the Blue Zone story provides a starting point for a wider discussion about how we live, how we age and how tourism can evolve in response.
