October 30th, 2025 – Chablé Yucatán has been named No. 8 in the global ranking of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2025 and The Best Hotel in North America for the second consecutive year. The third edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels has been announced at a captivating awards ceremony in London and features industry-defining hotels spanning six continents worldwide.
This evening’s awards ceremony once again united the global travel and hospitality community to celebrate the world’s best hotels. Held at London’s iconic Old Billingsgate on the banks of the River Thames, the event showcased exceptional hotel experiences that will inspire consumers, travelers and hoteliers around the globe.
At Chablé Yucatán, a former 19th-century hacienda reimagined amid the Mayan jungle, wellness and heritage coexist in perfect harmony. Each private casita reflects the spirit of contemporary Mexico, surrounded by nature and tranquility. Guests reconnect with body and soul through experiences founded on a heritage of ancient Mayan principles and traditions, such as transformative rituals at the sacred and natural cenote spa; through gastronomy that blends traditional and modern influences by Corporate Chef Jorge Vallejo; and immersive experiences in sustainability and culture at the hotel’s recently opened Abu’s Farm and jungle Kids Club.
Emma Sleight, Head of Content for The World’s 50 Best Hotels, says: “We’re delighted to return to London for the third edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels. It’s an honor to gather so many leading voices in travel, hospitality and hotels – and to celebrate the very best. Our warmest congratulations go to every hotel on this year’s list, each of which has clearly made a lasting impression on our newly expanded Academy of travel experts. We hope 2025’s list sparks inspiration for travelers as they plan their next trip.”
“We are proud to be recognized among The World’s 50 Best Hotels, a reflection of our deep commitment to creating spaces that honor Mexico’s soul and redefine the meaning of luxury. At Chablé Yucatan, every detail is inspired by nature, culture, and human connection—an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and experience well-being in its most authentic form. Today’s traveler seeks purpose as much as pleasure, and through regenerative tourism, personalized experiences, and meaningful innovation, we continue to craft journeys that leave a lasting mark on the heart, not on the planet.” — Diego Gutiérrez, CEO, Chablé Hotels.
