The “Chavon” nine offers cliffside holes towering 300 feet above the Chavon River below; the “Marina” nine affords spellbinding views of the Caribbean Sea on the horizon; and the “Lagos” nine is artfully crafted across tumultuous terrain with a premium placed on shotmaking.
The Links showcases the artistry of Dye’s genius. This 18 weaves through the verdant resort grounds and is ideal for golfers of all abilities. The course’s wide fairways give way to challenging green complexes highlighted by tricky, undulating putting surfaces. The Links is considered as one of the most playable courses Dye designed in his heralded career.
Since opening in 1971, Teeth of the Dog has become widely known as a Dye masterpiece and has long been considered the No. 1 course in the Caribbean and consistently rated as one of the best in the world. Dye’s genius design hallmarks are all showcased on the dramatic seaside layout: railroad ties, vast waste areas, peninsula greens and tees, hand-sculpted putting surfaces, and a unique assortment of pot bunkers.
