From Thursday, June 25th through Sunday, June 28th, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas hosted the inaugural Cigars in Paradise Cigar & Rum Festival in La Romana, Dominican Republic. This first-of-its-kind, three-day celebration welcomed cigar and rum enthusiasts from around the world for an immersive experience featuring exceptional cigars, premium rums, and the resort’s signature luxury hospitality.
Designed to be both intimate and educational, the festival brought together renowned cigar makers and leading premium rum brands from across the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and Honduras, including Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, Montecristo, VegaFina, La Aurora, La Flor Dominicana, Rocky Patel, Oliva, Drew Estate, Plasencia, AJ Fernandez, and more. Guests had the opportunity to engage directly with master blenders and artisans, gaining insider knowledge into the craftsmanship, heritage, and flavor profiles behind some of the world’s most celebrated cigars and rums.
Throughout the weekend, attendees enjoyed a dynamic lineup of programming, including educational panels, curated tastings, and a two-day cigar and rum festival complete with live music, entertainment, and elevated culinary offerings. Beyond the festival activations, guests experienced Casa de Campo’s world-renowned amenities, from championship golf at Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore to relaxing spa treatments at Spa Casa de Campo, as well as excursions to Altos de Chavón, the resort’s iconic 16th-century Mediterranean-style village.
