Announcing the 4th Annual Wellness Festival in Grand Cayman

Set against the stunning backdrop of Grand Cayman, the 4th annual Wellness Festival (Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 2024) is transforming in its fourth year to become a multi-property experience, thanks to the recent opening of Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman. Offering a long weekend full of robust and cutting-edge programming, participants can engage in everything from invigorating beach workouts and yoga sessions to rejuvenating ice baths and breath work, all complemented by celebrity chef-led farm-to-table dinners and soothing puppy therapy.

  • Heather Robertson: A certified personal trainer and nutrition coach, Heather offers personalized guidance through specialized beachside workout classes.
  • Tara Stiles: Co-founder of Strala Yoga, best-selling author and renowned well-being expert, Tara revolutionizes yoga for millions and will share her expertise in dynamic yoga classes.
  • Donato Helbling: A level two certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and Director of the Miami Ice Club, Donato will teach attendees the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method: Breathing Techniques, Cold Exposure, and Mindset Training.
  • Jonathon Sawyer: A James Beard award-winning chef and wellness advocate, Jonathon will showcase his culinary skills through interactive cooking demonstrations, special dinners, and a book signing.

  • Strala Yoga with Tara Stiles (Nov. 2-3): Join world-renowned yogi Tara Stiles for a rejuvenating beachside yoga practice.

Since the Cayman Islands are celebrated as the Culinary Capital of the Caribbean, the 2024 Wellness Festival will also feature top international and regional culinary experts educating attendees on the profound connection between food, beverages and overall health and wellness. Culinary experiences include:

  • Wellness Dinner at AVE (Oct. 31): Join Executive Chef Massimo De Francesca and his team for a Mediterranean-inspired dinner featuring local, seasonal ingredients. Enjoy a variety of dishes, from fresh catch to prime steak, catering to all tastes. From fresh catch to prime cuts of steak, AVE offers a wide selection of preparations for everyone.
  • Moss Mixology: Healthy Mocktails Reimagined with 345 Organics (Nov. 1): Learn to craft delicious, health-boosting mocktails featuring nutrient-rich sea moss. Participate in hands-on demonstrations to create refreshing drinks that combine vibrant flavors and wellness benefits.
  • Back To Roots Dinner feat. Celebrity Chef Jonathon Sawyer (Nov. 1): Savor a delightful dinner showcasing local Cayman ingredients, complemented by live music and stunning views of Seven Mile Beach. Chef Jonathon will also showcase his culinary talents during a cooking demonstration, as he prepares one of the signature dishes from his renowned cookbook.
  • Stories of a Winemaker: Discover winemaking secrets at interactive tastings, starting with Paul Hobbs Winery on Nov. 1, followed by Pares Balta Winery on Nov. Paul Hobbs winery will also host a Californian Vibes 4-course dinner on Nov. 1, featuring incredible wine pairings and cuisine.

Finally, attendees can enjoy Stories by the Sea at Library by the Sea, Kimpton Seafire’s acclaimed literature-inspired cocktail lounge, named one of North America’s 50 Best Bars for 2024. This wellness-focused edition will feature Tara Stiles, who will share insights on how learning from the past can help navigate life’s challenges. Drawing from her experiences with celebrated thinkers, Tara invites guests to reflect on their own journeys of self-awareness and growth.

This 8,500-square-foot indoor-outdoor garden retreat features a Vitality Pool, waterfall, and relaxation lounge, along with five treatment rooms, two couples’ suites, and a unique Hammam with tiles flown in from Turkey.
