More and more travelers are organizing their trips around yoga and wellness, whether it’s a week of downward facing dog on the beach, or a health-oriented spa retreat where activities and nutritious food are designed to make visitors feel like their best selves. Wellness is intrinsic to travel, and Vino & Vinyasa® is capitalizing on this with its third wine and yoga retreat in Valle de Guadalupe at El Cielo Resort & Winery.
From April 10-13, 2025, attendees will embark on a unique wellness and wine experience in Mexico’s most celebrated wine region, deepen their yoga practice, relax in El Cielo’s luxurious accommodations, explore the vibrant flavors of Mexican wine, and indulge in exquisite meals with expertly curated wine pairings, allowing participants to fully immerse themselves in the essence of Valle de Guadalupe’s burgeoning wine culture. Retreat highlights include daily yoga sessions led by Vino Vinyasa® founder Morgan Perry and team, wine education and tastings at three of Valle de Guadalupe’s top wineries, including an extensive vineyard and cellar tour at El Cielo Winery, and all-inclusive gourmet meals with wine pairings, including options for vegetarian and vegan guests. Attendees will also have free time to relax and explore the resort’s pool and grounds, shop at local markets, and explore the region. Guests can expect a seamless travel experience with transportation included during the retreat and roundtrip pick-up/drop-off from San Diego International Airport. To ensure an intimate and personalized experience, the exclusive retreat will be capped at 10 participants.
Vino Vinyasa® brings together vinyasa-based yoga and fun with interactive wine education. Classes and retreats are designed to provide a mindful experience that connects people to the art of wine tasting while expanding on their yoga practice. This retreat’s venue is a serene and bucolic wine paradise only 90 miles south of the San Diego and Tijuana border. Valle de Guadalupe produces 70-90% of Mexico’s wine and is revered as one of the last untapped great wine regions left in the world. The Valle is brimming with over 100 boutique wineries, endless vineyards, and dining experiences that are giving the area global recognition as the next great food scene – and El Cielo Resort & Winery is in the heart of it all. Cradled between two glorious mountain ranges and surrounded by 86 acres of lush vineyards, El Cielo offers breathtaking views of rolling hills, fertile grapevines, olive trees and an impossibly expansive sky from every angle of the property. The resort opened in 2019 and includes an onsite winery, a boutique resort with 95 suites and villas, two specialty restaurants, Latitud 32 and Polaris, and the new Equinox Terrace with spaces for corporate events, social events and weddings.
