La Belugue Sets Opening Dates for 2023 Season

La Belugue, a charming boutique bed and breakfast in Provence, will officially open its doors for the 2023 season on April 1. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Beaumont-de-Pertuis, the property is surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Parc Naturel de Luberon.

In case you are not familiar, La Belugue was founded in 2016 by French-American couple Kelly Goehler and Philippe Pellegrin. The pair met serendipitously as expats in Singapore where travel, nature, and culinary adventures quickly became shared passions. Upon return to Philippe’s homeland, the duo discovered their 18^th century village farmhouse and knew it was the ideal location to nurture their mutual passions. It would also serve as the perfect venue for Kelly to share the southern hospitality instilled during her Tennessee youth with tourists looking to explore picturesque Provence.

La Belugue features three welcoming guest rooms, each beautifully decorated with Provençal charm and equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast made from local ingredients, served on the sunny terrace overlooking breathtaking vineyards.

In addition to its comfortable accommodations, La Belugue offers a variety of experiences to enhance guests’ stays. The property’s cooking classes held Tuesday through Thursday provide a unique opportunity to learn how to prepare traditional Provençal fare using fresh, seasonal ingredients. On Friday and Saturday evenings from June 23-August 26, guests can relax and unwind at the La Cour wine bar, which offers a carefully curated selection of local wines and live music.

For those looking for a more immersive experience, La Belugue hosts specialized wellness and educational retreats throughout the season. These retreats provide guests with an opportunity to learn and grow while enjoying the beauty and tranquility of Provence. Upcoming retreats include Mindfulness Through Photography and Cooking (May 29 – June 4) and Writing Your Memoir, The Secrets Behind Publishing and Cooking (September 11 – 16).
