The Last Seashell – Antigua

Antigua seashell

Have you ever wondered about the history of a seashell? What kind of journey did it take to get from Point A to Point B? The unique design of each seashell turning up on the beach is like a work of art.

The seashell seen here on Little Ffreyes Beach in Antigua reclined perfectly on the white sand. It sunned itself like a nautical amplifier singing out from the Caribbean Sea.

Seashells are both beautiful and slightly sad creatures. Sad in that the animal dwelling inside is on its last legs or gone. Beautiful in its one-of-a-kind existence.

Each seashell has a story. In many cases, the story involves you, the person who couldn’t resist marveling at its rare individuality.  If you have a seashell story, Travel Dreams would love to hear it.
